Gymnastics
This term over the past 8 weeks, every Wednesday we do gymnastics in the school hall. We had two coaches one boy named Kane and one girl named Kylie. We even had a guest coach called Teddy. Room 8 learned 7 different skills and technique about gymnastics. My favourite part was everything.
These are the things that we learned:
Statics:Staying still or keeping your balance.
Landing:Landing safely in a motorbike.
Swing and spring: The playground is swing because it has monkey bars. A spring board is spring because you can jump on it.
Rotation: When you do a half turn and full turn.
Locomotion: Moving around in different ways.
Manipulation: Moving things with your body.

Last week our school had an art festival. Every one in the school had a piece of art to present. Our class made photo joiners to present with QR codes at the bottom. The QR codes linked to this presentation at the bottom for everyone to see how we made our joiners both physical and digital. The other presentation is about David Hockney. Today in cybersmart our goal was to change an okay blog comment and make it an outstanding one. We copied the comment and pasted it into a google drawing and started to change it. There were lots of options but I chose this one because I thought I could make it better. We looked back at our learning padlet from last week that was all about what makes a great blog comment and saw what people had and what they missed. This is the average comment and my comment above. I think this activity was helpful because now I know what is a good comment and an amazing comment and if I see a comment like this on my blog I can tell them how to make it better.

Hi ,today in cyber smart we had to write a lot of ideas that makes a comment amazing.First we read some really good comments for an example and to get some inspiration.Next we watched 2 different video's to get some more ideas.We went back to our padlet to update and add more info about blog comments.Make sure you take a look at our padlet. Yesterday we got to play with an electricity Circuit with room 7 and 9.We had to build some circuits and try to make them work.My thing link shows my labelling and description about what they do.A circuit holds electricity in the battery and the connectors allow it to travel through to the light bulb.If the circuit is not complete it won't work.We made a lot more like this one except some of the others had a sound maker and a fan that could nearly fly to the roof ! Building circuits where really fun.I think I am relational because I got lot's of ideas and I explained them really well.Hope you like it and comment.
Today in cybersmart we have been changing some of our posts to make it look better and so people who visit my blog will think that it's even more interesting.The blog post I changed is my week 7 one.James our cybersmart teacher shared with us a rubric that helped us on this activity by telling us if we have the stuff or if we could improve.We also rated our post on beginner,stepping up or smart learner.Take a look and please comment.
