My Camp Booklet

Hi bloggers, last week the most of the year 5's and 6's went on an exciting camp to Mt Ruapehu. We had a choice of snowboarding and skiing. I chose snowboarding. We had so much fun. We stayed at a hotel 30 minutes away from the mountain. We stayed there for 4 days and 3 nights. We also had other stops like the aquatic centre, Hamilton gardens and other fun activities. Along the way we had some challenges. One of my challenges were trying not to lose my things because I am a very messy person. Check out my slide underneath.
At camp on Wednesday it was also my 11th birthday. I felt overwhelmed by the cake and mini party my friends threw for me. During camp I felt nervous because I haven't snowboarded before and it looked hard. Once I got the hang of it I was having the time of my life. I'm really happy I went and I hope that someday I can go again.Feel free to comment!

  1. Talofa lava Dorothy,I am Tipiloma from Room 7. I like your blog about camp and what you did with your friends, and what you did at the snow.I like your photos you took on camp and what activates you did with your group and what you did. This made me think of having fun with my friends and it remind me of snow boarding going up and down the snow and on the chairlifts. Your slide show was awesome but it was hard to finish off my slide show. Come and check out my blog http://tipilomaa.blogspot.co.nz/

  2. Hi Dorothy, Thanks for sharing all of your ideas about camp. We were very lucky to be able to share your birthday with you too, and to top it off it was while we were on the mountain! Your reflections show lots of deep thinking and I surely hope you get to go back to the mountain one day again too.
